About The Author

blog-photo25I was born in 1948 about a decade before vitamin and mineral supplements began to proliferate in the US.  For as long as I can remember, my parents always spoke about the benefits of a well balanced diet with everything in moderation.  They placed a multivitamin-mineral tablet at the dinner table every day that they could afford to do so.  I also had several teachers that were proponents of a healthy lifestyle with the help of supplementation.

In retrospect, it doesn’t surprise me that I have become passionate about health and nutrition.  I went on to spend decades conducting trial and error testing on different supplementation, exercise, and diet regimens to determine which ones’ provide sustainable health benefits.  The results are astounding.  I have youthful looking skin and very little gray for my age – I am working on a health program that reverses the little gray that I do have.

My ultimate focus became reversing hair loss and the maintenance of a full head of hair.  I have found that the lifestyle that promotes strong hair growth provides the basic foundation for health.  Consequently, I wrote the HGS – HealthAnalysis Hair Growth System.

The HGS explains the why and how of healthy hair growth.  The HGS eManual is posted on HealthAnalysis.com.  On my website you will also find a Calculator that will help you manage your level of activity, and a link to Shaklee nutritional products.

    Jorge,

I have at least two relatives that are both overweight and don’t exercise at all yet they both have full, thick heads of hair. One is 65 the other is 42. How do you explain very active individuals that are in great shape that still are bald or losing hair? I have purchased your guide and intend to follow your advice as I have been thinning quite a lot over the last 1 1/2 yrs. to a point where my hairline is almost gone. How long do you think it takes to see results? Thanks

    • There are a number of reasons that can explain why your 2 relatives appear to be unhealthy yet they have full heads of hair. One possibility is they have a low level of activity at work or at home around dinner time. Low level activities are those that produce a caloric burn rate of around 13.0 to 13.5 – go to HealthAnalysis.com and Click on “Metabolic Calculator” to determine what activities can produce this caloric burn rate range. Another reason can be that they have been very active for years in the past then stopped and now are practicing a less than best lifestyle. In this scenario, it will be a matter of a couple of years before you begin to notice their hairlines faltering. As for the active individuals that are in great shape but are losing their hair, it is their diet that is the problem – most likely it’s too high an intake of carbohydrates. Feel free to forward questions or additional comment after reading my book. I thank you very much for your purchase of my book and will be happy to provide you with specific lifestyle changes that will help you stop your hairloss and regrow a full head of hair faster.
